Teagan Reed

Teagan Reed is from Dunedin, FL, and currently based in Cleveland, Ohio. Starting from theatre and Scottish Highland dance, she went on to train in ballet and modern. She attended Patricia Ann Dance and Pinellas County Center for the Arts and studied in summer programs at Jacob's Pillow and Springboard Montreal x Countertechnique One Body One Career intensive. Later, she received her B.F.A. from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee while completing Hubbard Street's professional training program, HSPro.

Teagan has been invited to appear in professional works with Groundworks Dancetheater, Fukudance, American Repertory Theater's "The Donkey Show @Oberon", Dance in the Parks Chicago, Aerial Dance Chicago, Ajayi Dance, Adam Weinert & Company at Jacob’s Pillow,  Little Fire Artist Collective, Christina Lindhout and Artists, and as a guest artist for Walnut Hill School for the Arts.

 

Teagan has also been an instructor of ballet and contemporary at Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, The Movement Project, Cleveland Dance Project, The Rainey Institute, Shaker Dance Academy, Chicago Movement Collective, New England Youth Dance Exchange, Mass Motion Dance, and Patricia Ann Dance.

 

In addition, Teagan has presented her own choreographic commissions with Ballare Carmel, Dance in the Parks Chicago, Groundworks Dancetheater, Danceworks Chicago's "A Chance to Dance," and The Movement Project's "Cleveland Dance Festival."
